Is the button a mechanical pump, or does it activate an electric pump?

The tank is "aqua-marine, teal, turqouiseish".

The button does not latch. It is spring loaded, so when I quit pushing it, it pops up and disengages the electric pump. It is similar to a water fountain in an office building. This saves a lot of water, especially since my "sink" has no drain. I put a splash in it and use it till its gross.

Do I need to make the pics smaller in a separate program before they're posted? What is the desired size? The pics are 187K, but they turned out huge...Sorry to the dialers.

Most of the users are comfortable with 640x480 for a picture size.

My camara stores my pics at 1944x2592 pxi's. So I have to resize them before I can even think about posting them. The photo program that came with the camara works (although I don't use it, I use Microsoft Picture-it). When I down load them from the camara, I resize them, save them on my computer then upload them to the web. Just the way I have to do it.

Lets go completely off subject here. There is a FREE (thats right FREE) program you can use to resize, edit, organize your digital pictures. It's called Picassa. This program really is fantastic for organizing your pictures and makes it easy to do just about anything. You can download it of my company website at http://photoplus.us/picasa-home.htm there is also alot of information there about the program.

The program is now owned by Google, but it is released for free use.

My digital camera has different sizes and resolutions. I just keep it on 640x480 and "Fine" resolution most of the time. The highest I use is 1024 x 768 and that is plenty of resolution. With the 640x480, I can get 18-20 shots on a floppy disk (which my Mavica uses to store the pics...and I have LOTS of old floppy disks...no expensive memory cards to buy).

Floppy disks? What's that? I dont' think I've used one of those in years.

Actually, most newer cameras won't run resolutions that low. That is one reason I use my old digicam for webshots.

I used my JVC digital camcorder on memory setting for pics, but lately, it's been giving me a "card error" with either one of the memory cards that I have. The manual just says take out the card and put it back, but I've done that dozens of times. Once in a while the error disappears, but as soon as I try to use it, I get one or two pics and the error returns. I guess I'll have to send it in for repair.
