Ceiling fan insulation

I just installed a plastic sheathing type insulation in the plastic removable ring on the ceiling fan and boy what a difference it made. I am going to get the ceiling insulation next week so my furnace won't run as much as well. I finally cleaned the windows for the guy who said he would make my counter top in return for the counter top but need to get the sink and clean out the front for the counter top to get attached to. At the same time it would expose the front wall for insulation to get put in.

Will provide photos of the ceiling fan insulation later as I have to get ready for work.

Been gone for a while but back as winter is returning and work slowing down.

I love the barter system. It really works. Looking forward to your I have insulation for my vent in my donor trailer that will be transfered over to my CT. I was amazed at the difference it made.

The cuts made to the insulation to bend it into place. I think I could have done with less bends but will keep them all the same anyway.



The insulation to be added inside the ceiling fan screen ring. It is a plastic side on one side and open cell plastic on the other side. I used two layers in the ring.I noticed the difference right off the bat.



The ceiling fan with the small insulation in place fitted inside the screen ring. I found this material on the lawn I was cutting and thought hummmmm!

I now have all the insulation in the ceiling. Last night after I got home from work I checked the inside temp and it was 34 degrees in the trailer and 29 degrees outside at 1:45 am. It took only 5 minutes for the temp inside (without the completed insulation in the ceiling) to reach 59 degrees.

Good deal! Glad you got it installed. Insulation=warmth It amazes me what a difference something little like that can make.

How are you doing this winter, with the extra added insulation and all? Are you keeping warm? It's been a while since we've heard from you.

Russ I too have been busy in and out of the hospital few times this summer
I haven't been looking around as much on here some but I've slowed down.
I still am undecided on cargo trailer I'll order either today or tomorrow jan 30-31 if at all.
health issues.
