Yes, it worked! Miss Piggy is looking good. She's starting to look like she should. The combination TV and TD is interesting. All very unique.

I can't resist a chance to tease you though....Shouldn't Miss Piggy be pink? What? Did she get a bleach job?

You can upload as an atatchment directly to a post, but that gets you that odd shaped box with the scroll bars. The other alternative is to use a hosting service like photobucket.com and copy and paste from there into the post.

Vedette,

Which "Personal Photos" are you talking about? The attachments that you upload to a post? Or something else?

Hi Mike
The picture above was uploaded from my Album of pictures here on the TnTT Forum. These pictures were resized and uploaded tiIo the Forum Album from the "My Pictures" file on the hard drive of my PC.
My question is: is there a way to just upload the pictures direcly from my PC to a post I am writing here on the Forum.
???????
As I am not a computer whizz, please be gentle and clear with your reply.
Thanks
Brian

Oh! And Thanks Sharon for your comments.
Yes I did consider painting "Miss Piggy" PINK!
But, as most men in a loving relationship, I had to consider the consequences of that decision and take the advice of a much higher authority.
SANDI !!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I am not referring to that small rain shower they had on the East Coast last week but the much stronger storm that would have blown into my life if the Pink paint would have been poured into the paint gun.
Get my drift.

The picture above was loaded from my computer directly to this post. The trick is to click on the "Upload Attachment" tab that is located below the message text box when you are creating a post. Once you click on the "Upload Attachment" tab you need to then click on the "Browse" button to search your computer for the picture. After you have located the picture click on the "Add to file" button. The picture will then be uploaded to the forum. You can then click on the "Place incline" button that will appear. This will place the picture in the text box of the post you are creating.

The main downside to adding pictures this way is that the pictures will only be viewable from that post. They will not be uploaded to your photo album.

Another interesting thing I figured out. Although the photos are not uploaded to your photo album they are uploaded to your attachments. You can manage your attachments by accessing your "User Control Panel". Then select the "Manage attachments". This will bring up all the attachments that you have uploaded. You can then click one of the pictures. After the picture has loaded you can copy the address and then post it into your text just as you would a picture from your photo album. Like this:

You will still have the problem of the pictures not being in your photo album where other members can see them, but you will be able to see all of your attachment uploads yourself to use in future postings.
