Teardrop with tent on top

Anyone ever use this configuration? Is it comfortable? Or are the side attachment tents much more practical?

Also, you might look into the Maggiolina Roof Top Tents, here:

Those are a bit pricey but they might give you ideas.

Thanks S. That Maggiolina looks super cool. Even has a mattress. As you can tell, I'm still searching for a way to have a teardrop and camp with four people

Steve F did a really nice grasshopper, then later added a roof top tent to give the kids more room. It's on the forum here, I think under member designs.

Scotty, folding tent units are a great way to add a spare bedroom on a Teardrop or small TT. By adding a changing room, you will have a standup place for dressing. If you are close to Salem, OR you can stop by to check a folding tent unit in person.

Depending on how much the Penthouse occupants bounce around, you might want to add stabilizer jacks.
