 Guess you can't come camping in Wyoming
There is a bumper sticker around here "Welcome to Wyoming, Consider EVERYONE ARMED" :)

"I carry daily because when seconds count, a police officer may be minutes away."

Around here it can be HOURS! And some LEO here use the 'Spray and pray " approach. :x

Where I live everyone has a gun. Most people have several. Cars, houses, businesses all packed with guns. Kids all learn to shoot early. Most all of us hunt.

I spent time in Wyoming this summer and loved it. I did not carry a gun, but was not worried about those that did. But I found this sign amusing. It was at the door of the Buffalo Bill MUSEUM in Cody WY. I live near the city of Chicago. There have been more then 500 murders there this year so far. We are on the may to a record murder rate. There are no signs on any of our museums requiring you to leave your weapons in your vehicle. We are the only state left without concealed carry. You can draw your own conclusion.

Hey Kirk

That kinda looks like mine. I bought my ruger about 10 years ago, scoped it, and I haven't shot it in about 5 years.

I guess it's just Illinois and DC that can't conceal carry. Maybe some day that will change.

I thought BB was buried outside Golden, Colorado. My son and I visited the center last summer. I guess exactly where he is is a mystery.

The opinions in this post are my own. My comments are directed to those that might like an alternative approach to those already espoused. There is the right way,the wrong way,the USMC way, your way, my way, and the highway.

No, he's up there on Lookout Mountain. We went and saw his grave when I was in the 6th grade. Who would lie to a 6th grader? ;)

Well I got my ccdw certificate in the mail saturday and today I went to the sheriffs office and got my picture taken and I had to make out 2 checks, one for $25.00 to the county sheriff and the other one for $40.00 to the dept. of state police. They told me in about 8 to 10 weeks I'll get a notice in the mail to come back and to sign off on it and then I walk out with my legal permit.
