The trailer was built earlier this year of plywood, on a welded steel leaf-spring frame, by a small custom builder in California. It has a roomy interior for a teardrop. It has 14" wheels and easy-lube wheel bearings. It has a large storage trunk in front that holds a 12-volt marine battery, a battery charger and a 110-volt shore power connection.
Other features include: Two large, locking entry doors on each side of sleeping area with opening windows; three 110v outlets and two 12v; 12v lights in the cabin and galley area; roof vent with 12v fan; LED taillights and running lights; cab is carpeted with ample storage area behind sliding doors; sleeping area is 73" long and nearly 5 feet wide with plenty of elbow room and space for a queen mattress; galley area has two burner propane stove with 7-gallon tank; plenty of storage for pots, cooking utensils and food; a receiver hitch in the rear to carry the included spare tire or a bike rack; hitch takes a 2" ball and has 4-wire plug; roof is nearly 2" thick and well insulated - stays cool inside on hot days; includes folding table that attaches to either side of the galley exterior. Trailer weighs about 800 pounds empty, with 70 pound tongue weight.
