If somebody wants some R55 generators there is some miss described in Ebay. And at a very good price, shipping included.

Coleman R55

I could have bought them all and flipped them for a tidy profit. Or if some nicer person than I would like to contact them and inform them they are worth at least $20, without shipping.

Eric that is a great score. I love the homemade boxes. I have several I think it makes them worth more, at least to me.

while getting parts at an old hardware store came across this " klams modle 814 , gasoline lantern holder " .
was told it was used to hold the lantern on a boat . at $ 9.99 could not pass it up .
anyone ever see this before ?100057[album]100058100059

In Colusa Ca the city which I hail from is hosting a Christmas Night called Christmas Tyme in Colusa. We shut down the main street, vendors set up, many people come out and walk around and eat and get their picture taken with santa and such. How do you like that sentence? So my brother and I (who happen to have just a few Coleman Lanterns) thought it might be a good idea to have a light up! Two big aluminum step ladders with two aluminum 12 ft planks in between. I am thinking we could get forty lanterns on that set up should be pretty cool.

The fire dept has given a tentative blessing but is confused because this is the first request to light so many gas lanterns at an event.

When they asked where we were going so many gas filled lanterns I hesitated to say "My Garage"? I just said "from collectors". Thats not really a lie is it? 8)

I will have pictures if I can ever get back into Photobucket!
