Thanks for the comments. It's exciting to be getting close.

Becky - the space under the counter is only about 6-8 in. deep. I can access from the interior, and it currently houses the electrical, fuses, etc.

Benhamtroll - That's funny. Small world, I guess. We had moved out for a few years and were renting it out. That must have been when you looked at renting it. We moved back in about a year ago.

I've been in such a mad scramble lately to "finish" the trailer that I haven't been able to update. We just returned from our nearly 4000 mile maiden voyage to nine National Parks. The trailer did great. It was a joy to camp in. I have some pics below taken after we got back. I use the term "finished" loosely, considering there is already a list of things I want to work on. I figure if we're using it, though, it's considered finished.

I really love that shape/design of Tear. You did a great job and congrats on the epic maiden voyage!
I hope to make a trip like you did sometime in the next couple of years. My family traveled cross country a few times when I was growing up and I miss those long adventures. My wife has never done it.

How did you attach the aluminum to the plywood. What type of aluminum angle did you use for the edges?

Architect-1 - The aluminum is attached simply by the screws fastening the molding/lights/etc. I didn't use any adhesive, though after seeing the amount of movement in the hot sun, some adhesive around the perimeter may have been a good idea. I've had one section where the sheet aluminum expanded and broke the sealant between it and the molding. Not a big deal, but something I need to fix. The aluminum corner molding is a fairly standard RV molding. I bought it at a local RV supply shop. Example here. Second one down, in mill finish.

Question - where did you get those wonderful fenders!?

Also - if I may ask. What type of wood and finishing did you use for the interior and galley? It looks so nice - and I'm used to seeing some very dark or even "dirty" looking woods and stains. Always interesting to see who picks what and why.
