My Thedford is more than adequate.
It did cost more than your home made unit though.
But I can go down the road without s..t flying out.
I think you know what I mean.

that's a funny picture but most of us empty before heading down the ol' bumpy road.

With this design, bio-gel and kitty litter help for multiple number 1's (like over night), but every number 2 gets removed from the vehicle facilities immediately in a knotted bag. The can, in fact, usually has a fresh, unsullied, trash compactor bag in it. Since the can is low, more than half the bag is out of the danger zone, allowing a good tie, sans detritus.

THIS ONE WORKS THE SAME AS THE PORTA POTTIES AT CONTRUCTION SITES.
IT STARTS OUT CLEAN WITH THE TANK HALF FULL OF DEODORIZED WATER.
IF YOU HAVE TO MOVE JUST PLACE A SHEET METAL PLATE OVER THE HOLE UNDER THE SEAT.

Since I mostly camp in remote areas, I often have to travel some distance before I can dump my Thedford.
Someone responded to one of my post, saying that most people dump their toilets before they travel.
That would mean that I would use the toilet and then dump it outside before I traveled.
That defeats the purpose of being responsible and clean
I use my portable toilet so as not to fowl the area I'm camping at with feces and toilet papaer.

It's also gross and a health hazard to think people are defacating in a trash bag, then putting it in a trash dumpster.

That's what the biogel and kitty litter are for...

I agree don't throw your "s_ _ t" on the ground at a campground.

since I have never camped in remote areas I always empty my tanks when leaving or when arriving at a new campground

when I stay in Florida I stay couple weeks at each site I fill the holding tanks with water drive to next site and empty them
before parking the rig for my next stay,
I always empty them before I head home there is a flying-J near me and I use their dump when I get home

it's either that or I just open the valve out in the country and let it drain on the road seems to be empty
after a couple of miles and after several cars run over the lumpy stuff it's hard to tell what it is.. :MLAS

I'm still thinking more like heavy DUTY industrial size porta potty ,
ever since I saw your invention.
Seeing as I'm up there too, why mess around with 11 gallon bags :D
SORRY - but I'm not a good artist. :D :D :D

we didn't use them when we had passangers......
