My very dear friend Mike/ aka, Slow
You never have to apologize for sounding off here on the forum. Have you not read "In the counsel of many is found wisdom"? Not only will you find wise counsel here but also true friends who will listen patiently to all your so called rants. At the end of your upsets, you will find people here who have accepted you as a true and honest friend and love you for who you are. You are a man who wears his heart on his shirt sleeve and is not ashamed to do so. This is why so many people love you and especially why Angie loves you so dearly. The world is full of people who would give anything to be so open as you are but they are scared of what others might think of them so they say nothing and often live a miserable and friendless life.
I visited a doctor one day when I was ill and noticed that the man was extremely unhappy and very upset. I asked him what was wrong and he told me that his mother had died back in South Africa. He was unable to return for her funeral and he was in a real "mess". I said to him, "There are two kinds of men in this world, there are the strong and there are the weak. The weak are noted for being a coward and will run when they have to face the hardness of the world. The strong will face the world when everything has gone against them and they will cry. Only a strong man will cry, a weak and cowardly man will turn and run in fear." I then said to the doctor, "Go home and kneel by your bed and cry all the tears that you can for by the depth of a mans tears is measured the height of his love".
You mention so often that you rely completely on God and without Him, you could never achieve the things you have done. Do you know that God collects all your tears, keeping them in a special bottle that he holds close to His heart? Every one is very precious to Him.
Slow, rant and rave all you need and want, don't apologize but continue to be yourself, expressing all that overflows from your heart from the pain of this world. Even though many here as myself, have not yet had the great pleasure of meeting you, we will always be here for you.
Your loving friends Down Under
