Actual work in progress...!!!

Okay, I am finally getting ready to start on the hatch for my Escape Pod.

As I have yet to cut the groove for the hatch seal, I plan to trace the profile for the vetical ribs of the hatch off the side of the trailer. Once I have a pattern that actually matches that profile I should be able to cut the groove in my walls with my router as planned.

Someone warn me if this plan is flawed as I will begin this process right after coffee tomorrow morning. This will make the hatch ribs taller than the wall profile by the the same dimension as the depth of the groove. Seems logical to me, but if wrong could be problomatic to correct.....

Honestly, I'll try to get Lanza to snap a couple of pictures tomorrow, I know I have been neglecting the pics lately.
