Sorry in being so late in my reply concerning my car. I do hang out in chevytalk.com at the 48-54 forum. If I were to write a build post it would be quite long. I do like talking about it though.
It started as a business coupe that was originally purchased locally new. A buddy bought it ans was working on it but lost interest after painting it. While it was in the paint shop it was shot full of holes by someone who was mad at the body shop.

It was repaired but sat in a garage for years till I got it. I overhauled the engine, tightened up the steering put in a 5 speed manual transmission and an open driveline, insulated and put in vibration dampening system, new headliner and upholstery, firewall cover, radio, vintage air, converted it to 12 volt, rebuilt the gages, new brake lines and duel master cylinder plus other stuff I forgot I did.
Recently I replaced the rear springs, the Jelly Bean caused them to sag. I realized the old 216 engine was just too wimpy to pull her up hills so I am working on a 235 to replace it. It should slip right in using the parts from the 216 without too much problems. Should be done in a couple weeks.
