Oh! and to Jim
I agree with what Steve and others have already been said "Don't leave or you have let the haters win!"
We would love to hear about the fun you and your wife are having with your teardrop....that is why we are here!

Slow, I don't see your post as any more disruptive to the forum than many others, in fact, many are useful or thought provoking. If the counseling related, birthday and "funny" post were removed currently there would be an almost empty forum to read. I would love it if half of the post on here were moved to another section so I wouldn't have to filter through all the filler to get to build or tear related posts, but I doubt that is going to happen. Still the best game in town even in its current state. Nowhere else I have found has as much useful information to assist one to create a really nice safe tiny trailer or tear. A sincere thank you to all responsible for furnishing us with a place to play and learn and especially those who have helped me build my tear!! :applause: :applause: :applause:

Ah, Heck! We need a little "spice" in our lives. So, if the pot boils over once in a while or a "casserole" has to be buried, that's okay. That's life.

Anyway, it's a good thing they locked the thread because I was in the process of posting something that would've possibly knocked some people's socks off. I won't repeat it as I've calmed down now; but, just call me a pistol packin' mama!

Dang Sharon you should've posted it.

That's my approach. I stay off the hot topics. I'm here to relax and learn things.

Hi Mike
You might want to lurk on over to my new thread "Vanagon to Teardrop".
Maybe you should consider something like this if Angie wants something bigger with a little more light coming in.
Possiblities are endless!

Gee Slow, I sympathize/empathise with that & it is a (part) reason why I've lurked a lot & posted little but there does come a time when one has to dip the oar in the water & try to go upstream a little. I for one am glad you did. Otherwise a topic content like life, could conceivably be all yae sayers, become popular opinion establishing as 'fact' next thing you know we all live in a police state too scared to really say what matters.
Just remember Slow, it takes a live fish to swim upstream. Continue as you are matey & please don't just 'go with the flow'. Besides, reasoned well researched & measured. thought out debate is undeniably healthy. We might not like it sometimes due to the inclusion of emotive elements, but healthy it is.
As others have said from time to time too, we got a good board family here. Like all familie,s spats ocurr but this family (board) is better by far than a lot of others I've been part of.
Merry Christmas all!! & HappyHolidays

Slow...I've been on this board for 8 years now (believe it or not) and have seen plenty of people come and go....what you have to remember is that there are thousands of opinions, especially with a board of this size. Everyone needs to learn when to walk away from a thread with something that someone said. I don't agree with a lot of things that are said, but then for those of you that have camped with me, you know how I am, I won't apologize for it.

Someone will always take something said completely out of context and blow it out of proportion, and an internet forum is a different situation since it's not a face to face thing. It may be their own personal soapbox....in most cases, let them have it...chances are, most people will see if for what it is and will know where it is coming from. You live in Wyoming...and you know that sooner or later even the worst "windstorm" will blow itself out. Hang in there guy. Doug

One shouldn't let the opinions of others determine their self esteem.

I can’t help but wonder if part of the problem is the Facebook and Twitter crap. Yes I said crap! I refuse to do either one. I really don’t care when you go to the grocery store or when you go to the bathroom. Why do people feel the need to announce every little thing about their personal life? T&TTT is one of the few forums that I post at. We are one big dysfunctional family. We all have something in common here, we like camping in our little trailers, building, cooking in Cast Iron and sharing our knowledge with each other. One thing that I have learned is that no matter what people will act offended because they can. It’s real easy to hide behind the computer screen and let the PM’s fly. I will admit that at first Slowcowboy’s rants and miss-spellings kinda bugged me, but now the ’ole boy has kinda grew on me. Everyone has the choice to click on the thread or not. No one is holding a gun to their heads so to speak. O.K. time to get off my soapbox.
Dawn

Don't do it slow I enjoy reading you posts. To many people take things the wrong way here. It is hard to put what you mean in to text some times with out some getting offended. Just ask Gage he a pro a making people mad even if he did not mean to. I know I don't respond to your post very often heck I usually just sit here and lurk in cyber space. But I do like to here what you have to say! :D

I don't post as much as I did in the past, mainly 'cause I have nothing useful to say :D
I'll answer questions if I feel it's useful, but I have noticed abit of "I know better than you" attitudes. I enjoy reading about other's experiences and feel like, for some, forums like this are more than building instructions. It's like a giant group of friends, getting together to share life with.
So, Slow, you keep on posting every detail, I'm listening. And I want to see plenty of wedding pics!!
Now, back to lurking
