Hey guys, little update now. I am going a little slow tryin to do it right. Anyways finished up the bolt on water tank support. Need to add a aluminum skid plate to it. Here is the support sitting upside down.Image
I also cut holes in the crossmembers and added tubing and welded them in as a utility chase for my water lines not to hang down.Image
Next step is the tongue, build a set off shackles and tie down points for the floor. Once i get the prototype frame brackets for my h3t sliders ill make tube fenders for the trailer so i can bend all the steel at one time.

Sorry long delay here are several updates

Well finished the tongue. I was originally goong to weld the front to the main crossmember than got worried about fatigue over time and decided to notch the front crossmember and welded it to the second member. Lots of ratchet straps for the correct distance!
Image
Next got the support bars on and leveled up
Image
Here is everthing welded up ready to go
Image
Waiting on a response back from locknroll on their hitches to work with my 2x3 frame.
Next is shocks and bolt down points for the floor.

Here is the start of the tube fenders. Tacked on and level with everything. More progress in the next couple of days i hope. Oh brakes are on the to do list lol.
Image
Got both exterior fenders done and rear deck plate from the fender to the back. My plan is for sliders to extend toward the front of the trailer but im going to wait till i have the body on and door in place. I was going to do dual tube fender inner and outers but worried now that the tire might rub on the inner if i did that.

Tomorrow i am going to look for steel to cover the fenders maybe a light weight steel diamond plate? Getting my lock n roll hitch xmas. My 7 pin wiring harness is coming soo now i need tail lights and side lights per dmv. Any suggestions on paint? Thinking maybe diy truck bed liner?
Also the axle spindle dust cover is too big for the h3 hub caps soo got to find some low profile ones.
Update 12/21/12 I finished running the wiring through the frame for the led brakes and turn signals.
Question for you guys on a 7 pin wiring harness, the ground wire need to be grounded to the trailer frame and then when i add a battery i run the battery charge wire to the positive and then i run a ground wire from the battery negative to the frame?

The shocks are monroe trailer shocks part number 555002. They are 12.5" full extended collapsed i think is around 8" i think? Was the smallest double eye shock i could find that would work everything else is too long. These are 15 bucks each on amazon. I did find a dostech prerunner shock the same length if these dont work, but there $50 bucks each.

Thats awesome, thank you! the shortest ive been able to find to date are "t bucket" shocks from speedwaymotors, at 9" compressed, for much more money.

Here is a pic of my led lights with the left turn signal going off. So I am nevada dmv complient minus need coverings for the fenders. All the wiring is ran through the frame and rubber groumeted round any holes. My lock n roll hitch is on its way xmas present from my parents. Waiting for the local steel yard to get some scrap steel for the fenders, hitch, front jack, and paint it. Then off to the dmv. First we are off to disneyland tomorrow for xmas. Wish me luck!

Really liking the LED taillights mounted in the frame! I want to do either that or I'm debating a 3" bumper and then mount them in that. Is that thing gonna clear your garage door with those big ol tires?
