I like the "Door Table/ Window cover" idea. Anything to make useable space is a good idea.

Nice unit for sure, The top of the line at over 15k still does not include air conditioning. I have asked santa for one of these! Not a tear but will not give way to the ravages of moisture. Definitely has some features I like but had never thought of. May hafta incorporate something similar into my next(?) build Don't think I'd buy one, mainly 'cause of the price, & overall design but there are some items worth considering...

I love all the windows..but in Texas you'd be baking 10 out of the 12 months..way too hot! Re: the livinglite aluminum trailers...I have one made by a different manufacturer (microlite trailers) called a cargolite, which actually weighs in at about 800 lbs loaded. Not a standie, but 48" tall inside. Love it lots, but even insulated, I have problems with condensation on the window and door frames... I think there are some drawbacks to the metal-only trailers.

I like the big, wide doors! Would make getting in and out a whole lot easier for those of us with a few years on the joints!

have you tried a small electric dehumidifier. there is also one that uses some crystals whick absorb the water and then when it is full you pull it in and it removes the water.

Other then that how are you liking your cargolite? I am loving my Cargolite Extreme. In fact we are heading to the keys in a few days.

Yes, I have both a little dessicant dehumidifier and a one-pint capacity electric one that works great....if one has electricity. We were camping overnight at a friends without shore power hooked up so I couldn't use the electric one and it rained overnight. (Seems like it rains every time I go camping... I should go more often because we really need the rain) My folding foam bed with memory foam topper is inside a waterproof cover, so the condensation is annoying but not making my bed soggy... I love my little orange trailer, and am fully equipped now for all travel climates (paha que cottonwood tent, ez-up, mini ceramic heater, mini-dehumidifier, air conditioner, little electric hot water pot for tea....). I finished all my interior mods, (used velcro to attach an automotive mirror, a little travel clock, several stainless steel cubbies, used stick-on hooks in which to set curtain rods, used a shoe rack and sets of plastic tubs to create storage up front, and velcro and webbing to make restraint system to keep tubs in place during travel.

I still have a tiny bit of rain seeping in the back one side when it rains, but I have the caulk to fix it..just need the time and to figure out where the issue is. Love how easy it is to pull with my little CRV, and love my little trailer in spite of it. .at least I won't have to worry that the rain will cause the aluminum floor to rot!

We are heading to Corpus Christi in February to check out the whooping cranes. This is the first trailer we have ever owned, and it is giving us a chance to explore Texas and its parks.

The idea that got my interest is the hatch prop system.



I could be mistaken, but it looks like you loosen/tighten the wing nuts to allow the props to slide in the slot.
If this is the case, then the prop's don't have to be removed or stored.

Anyone have this style operating prop?

I guess I hadn't ever looked hard at the Camp Inn...

Much more than just the hatch props look quite similar.
