OTTCT, Howdy;
The first was a 1995 Sandpiper by Cobra. Cobra went under the following year
and was bought by Forest River.
The Trailer was a Travel Trailer (TT), wood frame with bat insulation. I used
about 70 gal of propane each month and my elect. was near $100.00 a month.
That was at a charged rate of $0.16 per kw/hr. Had some 1/2" painted (2 coats),
OSB skirting all around it.
This trailer is a 2008 Keystone Cougar 5th wheel. This one has the aluminum frame.
and block foam insulation in the sides walls. The nose has Block foam but, it's cut into
chunks so it can better fit the space. The rear wall is bat fiberglass with a wood frame.
I have some rubberized nylon skirting around this RV. I used about 50 gal. of propane
each month and my elect. was about $75.00 at $0.15 perkw/hr. I was also in SouthCentral
New Mexico...between Hatch and Truth or Conquences. Didn't go below zero
last Winter and hasn't so far this Winter ...
