Looking for adhesive remover ideas

I have found that the cooking spray, PAM, will take pine sap off cars without harming the paint, duct tape off wood furniture (don't ask...just think mother-in law), label goo off jars and wine bottles and just about anything else sticky off of stuff. Test a little bit in a small area, let it set for a bit and it should rub off. You may have to do a couple of applications and then clean the area with a bit of denatured alcohol before resticking the weather stripping.

one I learned of recently is OFF with DEET in arosol, do test as with any solvent. I've never seen anything rmove sticker residue like it, even takes permanent marker off, also keeps the skeeters away. And to think we spray this chit on our skin and kids

I have heard of this too. Maybe that's why the avon skin so soft works so well. I don't know what is in it, but skin so soft has always been knows as a great skeeter repellant, and it makes you smell good too! lol...

We deemed it safe for the space station. I can't tell you how many parts I have floating around up there that I used skin so soft on to remove manufacturing adhesives such as tape residues and things after we finished our parts.

Hi Debbie, I'd add rubber cement thinner to the arsenal. It will take any rubber type adhesive off just about anything. It won't hurt paint, plastics or anything else that's not rubber based. It also will kill most bugs incredibly fast including yellow jackets.
