Manufacturers Dry weight, is no options, no water, no propane, dishes, sheets often no mattress , reputable manufacturers scale as it comes off the line, including factory installed options
The manufacturer wants the trailer weight as light as possible so it can be sold to people who can't actually pull it in the real world.
When I scaled mine for registration, I scaled wet, real world weight.
Water in tanks, 2 Propane full, 2 batteries and dishes in the cupboards. I wanted to be sure I could pull it within my legal limits.
One U.S. gallon of pure water weighs 8.34 pounds. One Imperial gallon weighs 10.022 pounds
20 lb LP tank is going to be close to 38 lbs full
27 group battery 50 plus pounds
So when I scaled I know I am approximatly 600lbs over dry
20 20lb LP
2 27 group batteries
400 lbs for water
I scaled at 1520 KG = 3351 lbs wet, 2751 Dry
