I used similar strips. The ones I ordered can change to any color, and were 19' long (5m), which I cut in half.

The use a bit more power though.

The ones I got are the 5050 LED chip, and the strip is rated IP68, which is waterproof and dust-proof. They are completely sealed in silicon.

I wanted the waterproof ones in case I get stuck in a sudden rain storm with my top off. :shock:
