I was even thinking our TJ Chapter Gathering could be in Washington.
Guess we do more travelling in Washington State than we do in Canada.
70 miles away, straight roads, cheap gas, cheap beer, great Mexican food, some great friends,...what more can I say?

I have friends in our car club that take their DOGS to Rod Runs across the line all the time. (the Rod Runs that allow dogs anyway?)
Once you get set up it is apparently very easy.
You are so close to the border.
Where do you get your ebay purchases sent to?

Cats are easier!
We just leave a bucket of food out when we go away for the weekend.
The longer you stay away the happier they are to see you when you come driving up the driveway!

Hey Mike
Here is a little math quiz for you. An american gallon equals 4.5 liters. Last summer I was paying $1.60 + a liter for gas for my truck.
And you think your beer is expensive?? I was buying Coors at $15.00 for a 24 pack, our Beer is $41.00 to $48.0 per 24 pack (warm in the liquour stores) and you don't even want to know how much they mark it up to buy it cold?? $ 5.00 to $7.00 a glass at the pub.
Cars??? We have a funny commercial currently running on TV for a VW.... Same commercial on either the USA channel and the Canadian channel except for the price
$14,990.00 US or $16,990.00 in Canada. Car parts? We don't even want to go there!!
You are best to stay where you are.

Let's don't even go there. Both my medical insurance and Medicare cost have gone up because of him and I'm on a fixed income. And Slow how about speaking for yourself and not us.

Sorry! And I agree......we should never go there.
This is a Forum about our interests in camping in teardrops and tiny trailers.
Lets talk about that for a change.
Also, no place to talk about "Investors " for the affairs of others.

Is this thread still about bringing dogs between Canada and the US? If so, then it is easy. My dogs, Ambrose and Gordon have visited to the US so many times, they're barking with an American accent. As long as you a have valid proof of rabies shots, they can come in. I bring a photocopies and keep the originals at home. Also, keep the window rolled up on the seats where the dogs are at the port of entry. Some border dudes can be easily spooked.

The US is more fussy than Canada on importing dog food, though both countries prohibit it.
