Just when I thought I'd seen them all... Wooden teardrops that float, Wooden cars, wooden cars that go thru the water like a boat... now this :? :? :? What next? A motorcycle that goes thru the water like a boat? :scratchthinking:

Mike--
Hook that back tire to a prop, or the chain directly to the prop. Put a ski under the front wheel. set the whole thing on a plank of wood and you might be able to do it.  Just don't forget your life jacket. :wine:

The Alabama flag in the background seems to authenticate it.

No, apparently that poster is fake and has been added to the photo. I must say that it looks more like German architecture than Alabaman architecture to me, but I have only spent two days in Alabama!

The Germans do seem to have a thing for wood bikes:

I recieved the same picture in a e-mail a while back with the title "Redneck Harley". I really don't think Harley Davison would appreciate the humor.

The license plate on the VW next to the Alabama flag appears to be european.
Or is that just me?

The cobblestone is kind of a give-away too. There aren't THAT many locations in the states that still have it. Plus, the width of the sidewalk and street suggest Europe.

I know sure as hell tough that it AIN'T Ft. Lauderdale.

Can anyone blow that photo up 500% to see which side the steering wheel on that car is on? I'm too busy.
Here we go again!

Germans drive on the same side of the road as we do. Most of Europe does for that matter, except for a few island nations.

It turns out my guess of Germany was correct - here is the original photo:

I can't read the title of the newspaper in the advert - but a search on TLZ leads to "Thüringischen Landeszeitung" so that's Thüringen in Germany.
