Weird weather here. We had a small ice storm yesterday. Today it's 46. Tuesday will be a record high of 64 and Thursday the high is expected to be 18. Go figure!
Yesterday we got some snow and high winds. The temp was pretty high and snow was sort of wet so the drifts it made was those kind where you bounce over them as much or more than you drive through them. And the ice on the road was slicker than butter on a brass door knob. Only about 28 out there now and sunny. Need to get out and scrap my road again so my little low slung 2 wheel car won't get hung up on the drifts.
I was planning on going to Preston Idaho for the 150th anniversary ceremony of the Bear River Massacre but the weather is looking a bit rough for the slick tires I have. Going to set it out today. Wind is pretty fresh here at my house and it is spitting a little snow. Could have some nice drifts in a few hours. Temp is not to bad.
The weather here has been fluctuating so much that within a week's time we've had ice rain, and just yesterday, tornadoes and 65°! Today that's gone, but in transition to today's current 41.5°, the wind was so intense that it did some pretty good damage in itself. We're looking at the possibility of ice again by Monday. Sheesh!
There's a fine line between breathtaking ingenuity and "That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen!"
It almost got up to 40 at home today. In town I was driving around with my window down and arm out. Of course I have been known to do that in -20 weather.
