Dry Flush - A New Way to Dispose of #1 and #2

This seems interesting. It's way too expensive right now but hopefully the price comes down.

Interesting! Reminds me of the litter disposal system I have for my cat.

While, in the long run, it might be less expensive than the Luggable Loo, it weighs 20 pounds, not including the battery pack. It is also bigger than the Luggable Loo; so, it would require some space adjustments. But, it's a good idea and some people may really like it.

Good find! Thanks for sharing! :applause:

The reviewers on this product were not users so its hard to judge with usable feedback. A composting toilet is another option though I believe more expensive. The reviewers of the true compost toilets nearly all say no odor and works as advertised -- Natures Head and Air Head are the two most commonly found and I think split off of each other so very similar. Price is high but appears to work well if used according to directions. My future standy build will have a system like one of the above so I guess I'll find out at some point. Either of the above systems will allow me to avoid the hassle of the extra plumbing and having to deal with the sewer hose and dump station and should it not work the space for a conversion is already in place and doable.

Yes interesting but the $585 is more than a bit daunting! The disposing of human waste in what appears to be a Mylar material also bothers me. I can just see some archeologist a thousand years in the future digging up this bag of $#!*. :?

Too much to break. It also would eventually be full on be holding area. I'd need to see how that was cleaned out at that time.

Mylar will tear. Kind if icky if thy didn't account for that.

Plus, and this is the big thing, you've for a proprietary bag system. What happens when this company discontinues or folds. You've got a 600
Dollar door stop. Chemical or composting is messier (maybe) but a lot less variables around sourcing the consumables.

Put a note in there that says: "This package constitutes final payment on my outstanding $10,000,000 balance. Please mark my account Paid in Full."

That will make them scratch there heads for sure.

Looks like a over sized diaper genie.
You know you could use a diaper genie, but you would have to be a little better with your aim that's all. 8)

It is a different approach, but the "proprietary" aspect of the
essentail component bothers me - you are at their mercy as far
as pricing goes. Also, just wrapping up the 'effluent' isn't a
long-term solution. Why don't they include the powder that turns
it into a gel and contains the microbes that decompose it - like the
premade bags they already sell for portable toilets ? Then I'd
have no reservations on sending the used bagging to a landfill.
If you have a house - you have a hobby.
