Last night at a Car Club meeting we had a demo of a product called "Mighty Dwarf"
These things are $75.00 and you can download onto a card all of your music (capacity is unbelievable) or plug into your phone.
They make any surface you place them on into a giant speaker. ie place on table and the whole surface becomes your sourround sound or on the dash of your car and all of the metal surfaces are speakers.......huge sound.
Google it for more!
I think this would be the answer for teardopping.
Size of a small can of tomato paste!!!

Wow! That thing is small! That's what we need as this system we got today is going to take up way too much space. So do you get a deal on these and where can I buy one from?
I think with the laptop and having movies, the news and everything else from the net then things should be fine, having a small unit for music would be a bonus!

They do sell on ebay for between $100.00 and $169.00 with no warrenty.

In order to get back to the originaI post question, this is about what I did on my build today. I just put my full-size cardboard TD profiles and templates away and put them on the back burner. My living room needs a replica antique wooden pie safe, with punched tin inlays, so I hit the big box store today and bought 4 1x12 pine boards and a sheet of 1/4 inch birch for the back that shelves. The sawdust was flying again in my shop, and I was reminded how helpful my surface planer really is. I just have too many wood turnings sitting around the house, and I am tired of dusting the glass shelves they are sitting on. Hopefully, this pie safe will keep out the dust and provide a better display case for my run-away hobby of wood turning. Oh, I love my lathe!
