5x8 PLYWOOD

Postby Tychi15 » Sat Nov 03, 2012 2:22 pm

Howdy yall i am currently building my own Teardrop with plans i found online but i want to make it a little bigger on the inside. Does anyone know where i could find some 5x8 plywood i know it exists i just cant find a place to get it from. I want to make the walls one solid piece instead of cutting down and connecting two 4x8 pieces. Thanks for the help :)

5x9 is typical ping pong tabel stock ... try to source it from an independent lumber yard, not a big box store. BTW, you didn't say where you live, so folks in your area can't point you to a source they might know. Good Luck, and ...

That's a great idea I've made a ping pong table before i should have remembered that. I live halfway between Rockford and Chicago so if anyone knows of a place that would be great :)

way back in another century we use to fly our plane to the EAA fly-ins held in Rockford.
the one in OshGosh is nice but Rockford was more friendly or it seems to me.
but I do get to visit relatives in Appleton now.

My computer is on the fritz now so I'm using an old iPad without a camera so once that's fixed hopefully I will get some pics up :D until then I only have the floor built and the frame of the walls and the doors cut out. It's hard building in a garage with no heat in Chicago in the winter  slow and steady wins the race though :)
