prohandyman wrote:I just re-read a post above...I have a couple of awnings, poles and the rails that attach to the camper, off of some of the pop ups that I have dis-assembled. I will get them out and snap a pic or two. Other items that I can bring to the yard sale are windows, lights, sinks, stoves, cargo doors, pots and pans, etc.. All taken out of pop ups! Well the windows are from the surplus stores.

Please post pics of the awnings you have I have a 6x10 ct and how much you selling the awnings for?

I'm sure I'll have a few things myself to yard sale as I plan on dragging home a big tandem axle camper to tear down for parts and frame for my next build, frame will depend on if it winds up to big for my likeing. Are you planning a time for the garage sale or people just putting things out as they are at home in there sites?

Here's an up date we're up to 104 confirmed sites with Kurt still holding 4 sites in side a before we start taking over side B.
We're down to only 10 mystery site in side a 2 more people have let us know they have the sites.

It's just growing by leaps

Wood is people booked with our group
Yellow are sites kurt holds that can be booked
Red are sites held by people we don't know and that don't know yet that they are future Tear Jerkers

Has there been any mention of the "yard sale" I never made it up there in 2011 but I think it was a hugh success. I have a bunch of camping gear, some build goodies, and xtra cast iron that all need a home.

I am looking for a corn bread pan that looks like corn ears and a waffle maker. If that's in your xtra piles, please let me know and post a :pictures:

Oh I love swaps..it's a great way to get something for your build that you need and someone else don't.. I build old Volkswagen's and sell/buy lots of impossible to find stuff at shows all the time... I think it would be great for us to offer up stuff that's past our build and just in the way to somebody that could use it for a build...and it's not like there are this many teardrop builders in one location very often.. I'm not sure what I will have left over as I am very cautious of what I buy and plan ahead..but I'm sure I will buy lots of stuff I don't need at a swap type sell...lol :D
Where are we going? and why are we in this hand-basket?

Hi everyone, the excitement keeps building and the campsites are almost full (in Loop "A").

We are glad you have been able to get a site for this event but if something should change your plans; Please don't cancel your reservation.

For one reason it will cost $10 to cancel but for another reason, someone will certainly buy it from you and then I can change the name on the site to the new owner.

We definatly don't want to loose and available sites for the gathering so Please let us know on the forum if your plans change for the July gathering.

Thanks ,

OK it time for you fence setters to get busy. Image

Jump up and grab those last 4 sites from Kurt so we can start filling side "B" .

Does any one have the exact number of trailers in 2011?

I remember 118 or there abouts and 38 states and Canada represented so these are the records to break.

To do that we need your help !

So how about it ?

One neat thing about The CRA gathering (and many other gatherings) is the "Homespun" music that you will hear.

If you play a guitar, banjo, harmonica, mandolin, Spoons, sing, or any instrument, don't be shy about sitting in on one of the acoustic "jams" going on around the Park. They are really fun and the talent is mostly amateur so don't be intimidated.

What a great way to enjoy an evening. Even if you don't play, you can clap or sing along or just listen and have a great time

I think that's right for "Teardrops". The total attendance was 142 trailers.

We are on pace to beat that if people get busy.

Scott
Two schools of thought on the yard sale...
One..we have a set period like Saturday 10 to 2. Everyone would know when to walk to different sites to browse.
Two..we just set stuff out whenever...maybe all weekend as we all know people walk around all weekend.
My preference would be just Saturday. Thoughts?

Dan,

I agree with just one day.
So much to do, and there is a lot of ground to cover trying to check out all the offerings.
Saturday is okay.

Does anyone know if this park has WiFi? State parks in Kentucky are starting to offer it now for a small daily fee....I looked at the website but didn't see any mention.. I have a lamp shop and sell online.....so it's nice to stay current with my customers....
