My first thought was, that trailer could almost pass for a Gad-a-bout ... but of course, it's not.

Have you looked at that coupling real close, Rob! Pretty damn interesting ... ... under the right circumstances, I'd be willing to give it a try ... ;) ...!

Oh, that's right ... I'm already pre-qualified ... I'm insane for teardrops ...   ...!

This is probably truly crazy but how cool would it be to have a teardrop trike! The teardrop axle would be your rear trike axle. That would be really cool.

Hey, Andrew!

That is a totally amazing photo of an EIS/Piccolo and Vespa ... :o ...! I have one of a different view, but it's really cool to see this view, especially with the one in the background. You have found some fabulous vintage photos, my Friend ... I'm envious ... ;) ...!

As always ...

I have both a Volkswagen trike and a gold wing with sidecar. Pulling a teardrop with either vehicle causes some concerns with rear views. On the trike I can't see anything behind me or approaching in the next lane. A car has to be pretty much next to the trailer to be seen. Also VW trikes tend to be tail heavy, it's very easy to lift the front wheel off the ground. Popping wheelies is fun but not so much with a trailer on the back.

The Goldwing/sidecar rig is somewhat better because the rider is off center. So the left side has good visibility but the right has worse.

None of these old bikes in the pictures even has a mirror so I guess it wasn't much of a concern for them. :) Personally I like to see behind me sometimes.

I quit pulling a teardrop and bought a folding camper that I can see over the top of.
