I tried to do some jerky in the smoker this afternoon. After 2 hours the meat was still cold and limp. (But it had plenty of smoke in it.)
So I brought it inside and I'm finishing it in the oven.

Now all that's left is to start a campfire, get out a couple of camping chairs, and let the snow fall on us... (Yes, it's snowing again!)
Hmmmm maybe I'll wait a few months for the campfire and the camping chairs...
