Birthday and camping does it get any better than that?
since you say you live in Florida but South Louisiana is your home
just where did you spend your birthday us snowy envious northerners want to know.
my birthday is days away and I won't be camping it's to frigging cold 22 degrees here today, but may reach 30+ wow!

Glad you had a good birthday Becca. And your right, it was cold. In fact it was colder for some than for others. :D

Thank you Kerry, Pete and Linda!

Pete, I was camping in North Florida, near Ocala at a campground called Rodman Campground, right on a reservoir. It was nice looking out at the water from our campsites but the campground had nothing other than that to offer. The bathhouse was nice and new but no bike trails, just pavement to and from the beginning of the park. It got very cold at night and Sunday morning was very cold. Made packing up my site not so pleasant. I couldn't find my gloves so my hands were frozen. But I still love camping in the winter.

I only "reside" in Florida due to work and my kids are here. I will always be a South Louisiana gal and hope one day I can retire back home. There is just no place like home Toto.
