I know Lexan is expensive. My thought would be you would want to have some sort of curtain to block out the light coming through the roof during the day. Otherwise the inside would become an oven. Great for gatherings tho, you could bake bread in there for the whole group. But at night it would be really neat I would think.

Chubby has been religated to the spring and fall trailer of choice. The solar gain on a cool but sunny day warms the bedding for a great feeling when you slid into the sheets. We have use him in the heat of summer with the aid of a couple space blankets draped over the roof to reflect the days sun in an attempt to keep the interior cooler. I have registered 130+ inside on a clear hot summer day. While not quite warm enough to bake bread You could easily use it for a proofing oven I have witnessed thunder storms , hugh snow flakes , a few full moons and many a star filled nights. And yes it is still my favorite trailer for camping in moderate temps.

Mike, Nancy is also a bit claustrophobic and would have a VERY difficult time in a conventional teardrop. Compass Rose has a large uncluttered interior and has two large windows as well as the glass on the doors. How does Angie feel in your current tear?
