where are you mounting the watere heater

Not 100% sure but I am thinking on the front v nose section on the drivers side, propane tank will be below it so easy gas plumbing and the water will come out of the cabinet right behind it. I have to see in the daylight what the best plan is.

I ordered the mattress's and my wife found this fabric to cover them in, she said it was manly enough for the trailer and it was on $ale so I love it!



I went with 5 of these hinges per bed instead of the piano hinge, HD piano hinge was really cheap and I couldn't find what I wanted without spending a fortune.



And, I found these to hold the beds up in there storage position.



Mounted up!











And the "wide" body in place,





I ordered the steel for the folding legs and will weld them up soon...

I have really enjoyed watching your build....you have done a fantastic job. One question, and I may have missed the answer somewhere along the line, but I'm not seeing a side entrance door in your trailer. Is the intention to enter and exit through one or both of the rear cargo doors?

I had been doing layout work over and over again with a side door but one day while out shopping for trailers I saw this one with no door and I walked passed it a dozen times paying no attention to it but finally opened it up and went in. Well with out a door I was able to put a bed on that wall and use pretty much all the floor space in the trailer for something, really it opened up so many more possibilities. The trailer is 6x12 so 72 sqft and if you had to leave a 30"x30" space or hallway in front of the door that is 6.25 sq ft or almost 10% of all floor space that is an unusable hallway and multiple that by the 6' height it is 37.5 cu ft out of 432 cu ft total so again almost 10% of all space...or at least that is my thinking, every sq inch is important in these builds.
I do plan on putting a passage lock on the rear door so I can close from the inside but just haven't got to it yet.

Counter top time!

I had some 3/8" ac plywood left over from the beds but none of it was big enough to use so I started gluing and screwing,PL Premium is amazing glue!



I put 2 pieces together for the main part with 4 on the edges,



I glued them up rough and then trimmed it straight.





Outside is all finished at 1-1/2" and the blocking is in for mounting.



I filled all the screw holes and cracks with wood filler so the top is smooth,



Test fit and were good! All waste material which is great and it fits perfect.



Small storage in the corner.

The HD cabinets give you no way to secure the top down and plus I wanted to stiffen up the cabinets,



Corner blocks glued and screwed,



Ready to mount the top,



I have a friend that does copper work, I'll cut the sink out and send it to him to cover with copper (i think)

pvangel, Howdy;

Been doing some reading on another forum (RV type), and more than a few folks there
use some of the hose insulation foam (like the pool noodels), as a spacer/shock absorber
for their pumps. Reckon it all sorta depends on how solid the surface is that the pump is
mounted to as to how quiet it will be or not be.

Thanks Hank! The pump mad a LOT of noise where I first mounted it but by putting it right next to a stud it seemed ok. Once I put some water in it I will be able to test it, snowed off and on all day here so not to soon.... can't wait for spring!!! And speaking of plumbing...

Plumbing day!

First I secured the the water tank with blocks and a nylon strap.



Then I prepped the water heater with Teflon tape and a 1/2" barbed for the water intake.



I drilled out the shower cabinet for the water line and gas line,



And smoothed out the edges so there were no explosions...



Mounted the shower cabinet to the front of the trailer,



Then the shower in the cabinet,



Done mounting!

Plumbed up the sink,



No hot water at the sink for now, just "t" the hot and cold together.



All set!



I also spent 2 hrs on the back doors, My plan for a door knob did not work. First thing is that the door would not close all the way so I had to grind out a section of the closure pins, then the screen door latch I bought wouldn't work. Not sure what I will do.
