Kurt,

I looked over your schedule and have a question/comment;

The Friday swap meet is good.
I like the fact it is on Friday so it doesn't compete with the other scheduled events.

I didn't see a specific block of time set aside for going around to look at the trailers?
Of course everyone can wander about anytime they want, is that the plan?

I've always been perplexed by how a person can go to see the other trailers if they are supposed to be "home" to show theirs... :NC
I did the wander about thing last time, but missed seing many because their owners were also wandering...

As always, many thanks for all the effort you (and Dan and Scott) put into these events!

Rob
Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

That is always a problem at a big gathering. I do however enjoy the informal arrangement of that part of it. My camp is always open to visitors anytime you can catch me there although there will be times that I will wander about or be gone enjoying what the park has to offer.

Rob and Mark, Anyone with "goods" to sell should leave a pad of paper and something to write with. Any interested party can leave a note with a site # (and/or a phone number?) so a contact can be made later.

Eventually you can get together with all of those "buyers".

The poor guy (Dan Galvin) who hosted the swap meet in 2011 found that it took up his time as well as trying to return items that were left behind.
This format should be easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

Kurt, that is a good idea. I am comfortable enough with the majority of the campers being Tearjerkers & TNTTT folks that I have also employed the use of an "Honor Box" before at gatherings. So far no one have given me any reason to second guess that.

Just want to remind people that they also need to keep checking the Tear Jerkers forum as not every posting there is on this forum.
I know there's a lot of duplication but there is a lot on information being shared and communication is a very important part of having everything go off as planned with no hard feelings, "I didn't know that..."
This is a huge gathering!

Sounds goo to me, I decided to purchase a Awning last night so I can use it on the outing and my first camping trip in April. It is made by Rhino rack and it is not big but it is just the right size to keep the rain from coming down on me when I first walk out of my CT. It is 6 feet wide and almost 9 feet long. And it is very portable it can be used on my CT and then if I want I can mount on my Ford Escape with adapter from rhino and can be used that way as well. I also ordered something very interesting which will solve alot of problems for towing and if anyone has this same issue of when you put your teardrop or CT on your towing vehicle your vehicle drops some so not level. If anyone has this issue I have a very inexpensive system to fix that and much cheaper then air ride lift system and no worries of air bags leaking overtime.

And tonight I will order my trailer brakes and just waiting for my new brakes to come in for my Ford escape they our design for towing and hoping to have it all ready to go by april for the first teardrop trip in Wisconsin.

Roll Call

I'd like each of the Chapter Directors to tally up the "head count" for their chapter so I can post it on the web site.

Also...anyone who wants their Trailer picture on the Web Page should email a picture to me at [email protected]

I want to update the "picture page" for this years event.

Thanks for the help.

Only Two sites left

If you need a site for the CRA 2013, I have just (2) left in Loop "A".

They are #26 and #120.

After these are taken, the Loop "A" sites will be all spoken for and the "Overflow" sites in Loop "B" will be available for reservation by the public.

So if you want one of the remaining two in Loop "A", better speak up soon.

WARNING WARNING WARNING!

Sites 26 and 120 may be hazardous to your health!

The neighbors are noisy and stay up too late and simply enjoy life way too much. The up side you won't have far to walk to the Dutch oven seminar ( site 23). We are looking forward to having yet more good friends and fellow campers.

Afternoon all,

I think I finally have my better half talked into us building a trailer. Is the gathering only for those currently owning one or are "wannabe's" allowed to join in the fun? I was thinking that if we attend, she can view them live and personal to see what they are all about.

Does anyone know if there are any camping spots for tents in the park available as well?

Everyone is welcome, we would love to have you join us. Tents should work in most sites.
