Vintage Malavac coupler free GONE

I have an ancient 2" coupler Malavac drop forged, still works great, free to anyone who wants to come get it, I extended the tongue on the original trailer and the owner did not want this coupler anymore.

Wow! The only other one of those I've ever seen is on my teardrop.

Thanks for the name. Unfortunately Googling "Malavac" doesn't produce any meaningful results. Do you have any additional info on that style coupler?

I have no information, the trailer was homemade with model A wheels and a pipe frame, I beefed it up, added a 3500 pound axle with brakes and they took it away.

How about posting pictures of the tongue of your teardrop?

This is what the coupler on my trailer looks like.

There is a name and number on each side of the gate casting. I'll try to read it in the next day or two.
