Great little lantern. I just picked one up this past weekend. It is a 229 but looks like yours. It lite right up and burns nice. I know nothing about them other then it says duel fuel. Do you know anything more about these?

I was getting the tear out for some spring cleaning and my next-door neighbor came by. I told him about my recent old Coleman purchases and he said I should have said something to him. He had some stuff he would give me. :o

Turns out he has a Lantern, Stove, and Heater that he wasn't using anymore. The lantern was modern. He needed more time to dig out the stove but said it was probably from the 60's. The heater was easy to get to so I now have a Coleman gas heater, dated 3/70.
