Does anyone have experience with these?

Has anyone tried one of these converters? They have them online for $73.50, I was just wondering if anyone has tried one or if it's big enough for a tear?

Probably big enough, depending on your electrical load requirements. But, based on my experience with WFCO Chinese-made converters, I strongly recommend the Progressive Dynamics 4045 converter instead.

I've never seen or heard these mentioned on the forum, so I expect they are not widely used. I would look at the warranty to see what you have to do to get service if necessary and who will do that service.

The PD is US-made and has an excellent reputation. Even if it is twice as expensive as the one you have chosen. Remember if the converter fails, it may kill your battery also (mine did), and replacing them both is a large expense you don't want.

My $0.02 worth
