I know i know I know. Been way too long. We're in the heart of baseball season so I am super busy. Games every week and half of the time I am on the road. But made some progress today.
A few weeks ago I had a couple hours and got a few pieces cut to size for my interior ceiling. They sat around for a while but after the game today i decided enough was enough and I was going to get at least a couple installed.
This was for sure the hardest job do solo so far. Nothing complicated about it just awkward trying to hold a 5' by 4' panel above your head, in position and fasten it in place.
But in the end i was succesfull
First I brushed wood glue along the bottom surface of all the spars.
Then I positioned the panel in place best I could and shot a couple staples in just to very temporarily hold it up while I got a few screws in.
I used panhead scews spaced every 6". Seem to provide for a nice tight fit all around.

This front piece was the big one. Made use of a few clamps to hold it up till i got the screws in

Cut out for the vent. Used the tried and true "drill a hole in each corner the zip around with jig saw" method. Worked like a charm
