I can second what Gage said. I didn't leave enough of a gap between the hatch and the walls and I have trouble getting my hatch closed. I will fix it someday, but I don't want to redo the whole thing again.

Thanks Gage, you are right, and I'm glad you mentioned it. I don't want to have to take it apart once it's all done. that's why I'm here, to get pointers from the pros. I'll narrow it 1/2" on one side and gain that 1/4" on both sides. Thanks again sir.
