Hoping for a tear in my future!

Postby prattep » Tue Mar 12, 2013 9:07 pm

I've had the HF trailer for a couple of years now, and thought I'd do a quick search online to see if anyone had ever built a travel trailer out of it. Boy have they! I don't know when I'll get a chance to start my build, but I can hardly wait to ditch the tent! I live in Portland Michigan, so I'll have to check out one of the gatherings this spring/summer for more ideas. I've asked for a tearjerkers acct, but no word yet.

I have been having lots of fun looking at build threads, and look forward to bouncing ideas off of the knowledgable people on this forum.

Wish me luck!

Welcome to the forums.

You are lucky. I think the east coast has a bigger population of teardrop compared to the rest of the country.
Enjoy your stay, sak question, and post if you start building one.

Greeting from just south of the border (we can see Michigan from the end of the street). Yes coming to the Tearjerkers gatherings is one way of seeing what folks have done, as well as looking through 'builds'.

Don't wait for the future. There's no time like the present to get started. Bolt a sheet of plywood to the top of that frame and you've got the beginnings of a trailer. It's a blast. And welcome to the forum.
