New to trailer building

Postby BrockGrimes » Fri Mar 15, 2013 6:24 pm

I'm some what of a macgyver type. I like to build and tinker and I've been thinking about building a camping, bug-out, travel type trailer for some time.
Think i'll build one set up for more of an offroad feel, maybe a jeep trailer.

I'm considering using unusual parts for the door, windows, etc.
I've got a 5x8 i believe I forget the size as it's been awhile. Anyway it's a black metal one I bought at Lowes.
It's a 5 lug so it should be a good base for a build. My plan is to switch it over to a pintle hitch type setup.
We'll see. More to come. Ideas to follow.

Considering the midget or rimple design.

Maybe a metal outside skin or glass it.
