It sounds like a dumb question, but there is a ratio in nature that is common called "phi". --- roughly 1.618 :1 that relates to beauty that is common in art as well as architecture.

I can't help but wonder if "cute" trailer sizes share this same ratio....

A 10 foot long trailer would be roughly 6.18 foot tall for example....

An 8 long trailer would be roughly 4.94 foot all...etc

This seems about right in my head....

Please tell me more about this do I times the length by 1.618 or divide it?
As yet once again my plans seem to be forever changing, more dogs more kids should mean more camping

Slow in regards to the length; Does it really matter as long as you and Angie are happy with it and comfortable in it, length shouldn't matter to no one but you, especially when it comes to trailers

i want to keep the cabnets that are on the wild goose bill. with the bed. full lenth. this camp trailer is going to be setting around a lot then in a monents notice need to be hooked up and down the road to go camping at a moutain lake or on a road trip.

Well that makes it easier. Start from the back and measure the length needed to the cabinets then add 70 inches for the length of your queen bed. Then you will have your floor length. The origional plan shows about 50 inches ahead of the cabinets on a 10 foot floor. If you go 12 feet, you will have a couple of inches to spare. That should keep you about where you want to be and still have all the cabinets. as designed.
