Slow, I've found a couple of tricks that help make pictures easier.

Instead of downloading pics from the camera to the computer using the patch cord and camera software, I now just take the SD card out of the camera and stick it directly into the slot in my computer. Then it is easy to just highlight all the files on the SD drive and drag them into my hard drive.

When loading pics to my gallery here I use the browse button to the right of the url box and just dig into the pic file on my hard drive and select the file. No need for two windows and no cut and paste. My computer remembers what file I looked into last, so the next pic is even easier because the browse button takes me there again for the next pic.

A picture is worth a thousand words and is so helpful when trying to get a point across. The fact that so many people are willing to take the effort is what makes this forum such a great place to spend time. We like that you are a part of this and we would appreciate seeing your pics, too.

Whew! For a minute there I thought that I would have to re-boot the cable modem again because all the pics were little red x's. IMHO since the forum upgrade pictures are easier because I don't have to resize them.

Hello all I am back. I was working on a project gone bad at work and it burned me out on the computer. Things are much better now. I have a bunch of new stuff for show and tell. I have been hitting some flea markets.

Grizz is also partly to blame for my absence. He showed me the glory of the Garage Journal Forum. I dont recommend going there you may never escape.

The Dam Gathering is coming up and the Pinewood Derby race will be super fun so if you are attending please build a car and race. Refer to the Pinewood derby race thread in General Discussion for the rules and tips.

I have many great Coleman lanterns and stoves for prizes at the race so come and win! There will be a Big hat in a real nice clamshell, and much more.

I just fired up a new campfire thread over at the Jefferson State area. Its not to compete with this one, its for stuff other than old camping junk, Ummm I mean treasures. Camping treasures. Its called the Nor Cal Campfire. I will be there just randomly singing and talking about food and acting a fool like I always do. I will also have contests over there. So come check it out. Just another layer to the funhouse. Peace out players!

Well now that that's out of the way.....Let the games begin. Who's going to win the NCAA tournament? You all know I'll be cheering on the Jayhawks. Who's your team?

I know it did not happen unless there is a pic but I just cant wait. I scored a camp oven. It does not fold like a Coleman. Its just about the same size maybe a little smaller. Real cool ornate knob on the door, glass in the door. Temp thermometer you can see through the glass. Rounded corners. Very nice condition, looks like it was black from the start. Any info?
