12" wheel covers for Harbor Freight Wheels

Postby len19070 » Tue Mar 19, 2013 2:51 pm

I'm looking for a place, and a person who has done this!

To buy a 12" wheel cover/hub cap for a HF.

I'm not looking for a web site where I May be able to find something that May work....Looking for someone who has done it!

this I think would be a big BOOM to a lot of builds.

Happy Trails

The Chevy Sprint/Pontiac Firefly/Suzuki Forsa/Swift (which was really the same car) had 12" wheels. I'm sure that you can find wheel covers either at a wrecker or after-market.

Looks like Hubcap Mikes has a least one option Len. Not cheap, but pretty cool 8)

I see a few other plastic aftermarket types out there on the web too.

Hardly a bargain since they are advertised as being ABS plastic. You can buy genuine Moon, spun aluminum caps for less

oops, I missed that ABS part completely. Yeah, the metal ones would be far superior.

I found some wheel covers that fit 12" Harbor Freight wheels, there from a Chevy Sprint. The name of the car they will fit is important.

If you ask for a wheel cover for a specific Car they will have them....If you ask for a set for a trailer they'll tell you they don't sell wheel covers for trailers! At least at my East Coast auto parts chains.

Jenn was right!

Other the a high cost from mikes a lot of new cars come with plastic hub caps I would not be afraid of getting ABS ones.

I remember my father-in-law tapping the hubcaps on my new car and saying "those are plastic" I replied
"just like the ones on your car" he didn't realize they too were plastic.

Was you able to leave the wheel bearing cap on? Also,is it a snug fit?
I like the looks of it and I might go that route too.

Yes Larry, the dust caps are still on and its a very tight fit.

I just think it looks a little better than just a bare wheel.

I had to buy 4 so I put the other set on my RT build.
