Manual Brake Control

Postby pmspirito » Sun Mar 10, 2013 9:30 am

I park my TT inside of my garage. It is a very tight fit. When I roll it outside to hook it up it rolls easily. TOO easily. When it clears the garage door it starts downhill on the driveway. There is no stopping it. I rigged up this manual brake control switch. It is not pretty but it works super.

My issue with this is when the backup brake battery dies, since that is powering the new line lock, there will be nothing to stop the trailer from rolling out of the garage. Is this only temporary until the wheels are chocked and then the switch will be turned off?

YES. This is just for moving the trailer out of the garage. Once on the flat floor of the garage there is no problem and the trailer just sits there.
