I've saved all my receipts and kept a running total going, but not as organized as yours and no real fancy bells or whistles yet (like stereo, converter or microwave)

My 5x8 cubby has come in , right around $1800 including the frame, hubcaps and tires, battery, fenders, paint, porch lights, etc ... and every little screw and bottle of glue... There's still just a few things to do - reading lights, re-do the porchlight switches, and then the galley table and drawer...

So I still should come in for less than $2000 PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

Jewel,

That's pretty good. I think (not 100% sure) that I have about $2500.00 in my Cubby.

Wow, Keith:

If I was your wife, I would beat the crap out of you for spending all that money. My wife went the no-sex route with me, but I think she's cracking. It's coming up on 6 months.

My guesstimate is 3 to 4 grand, but screwing things up and having to do redo them costs money.

uhhhh, I'm not married.... but the dating has resorted to "picnics" instead of going "out"...OH, and I have more "toys" to buy, so figured I'd wait on the marriage thing till I get just a few more, then we'll see.

So Ira, is the $3-4 large the amount it took to scare her away from you or is that what its going to cost you to resume conjugal visits with her?  Our own OJ (Oklahoma Jewel) summed it up if you need a hint, "diamonds are a girl's best friend."

How can I afford diamonds?

I'm thinking (just thinking) about building another, and I'll need that money.

Let's see:

I got a 4 by 8 now, and I'm drooling over the 5 by 10s. So...

Sex...or 5 by 10?

Sex...or 5 by 10?

Sex...or 5 by 10?

I GOTTA go with the sure thing, and you sure as heck know what THAT is!!!
Here we go again!
