Hey Slow! I'm planning two weeks off next year, and want to come back to Wyoming. I was thinking of Jackson's Hole because I've been there in the past and still am in awe when I look at the pictures.

If you pick a date, I'll try to work my vacation around that.

Yes it is some very nice Country. We are concidering another trip next summer. Lets hear what plans you can make Slow. We did Yellowstone, Grand Tet's, Cody, Jackson Hole all in 2 weeks would like to see some other spots maybe north from yellowstone.

I saw that Gros Ventre has group sites available. I stayed there back in 1976. I looked at the web site, and I don't think it has showers.

Slow, the date might make a difference in how many people can come and, therefore, how big of a camp park you need to look for. So, perhaps you can give us a rough idea of what month you are thinking about? Or, did you already suggest it and did I miss that?

...consider having it the weekend after the Pamplin Grove Redwood Gathering...folks could make one and then the other on the way home...or just yours...if in August, find a nice cool place for it...no one wants to camp in 100*weather............

Sounds like a nice idea.
Might be nice as mentioned before either the weekend prior to or the weekend after the IRG which is in July. Dates should be posted soon. Maybe would get people on way out or way back to stop in and spend a night or two in your beautiful spot of country.
