We'll post more pictures this week end. Right now there is "stuff" inside so pictures wouldn't do it justice.

I'm not sure what we'd do different next time. The over all size and configuration works well as is. This was designed so we could cook and eat inside if necessary. We've had to do that a few times this summer and it worked just fine. The flies were awful for a few days in the UP so we were happy to take our chairs in and relax without being bitten.

For the most part the solar panels keep up with our needs while dry camping. We have a 45 watt system that will run lights, computer for tunes, fantastic fan. Tim will be tweeking the system on our next trip. We'll have power so he can test things both ways. We may have to buy a larger inverter.

I guess we know why this one dropped of the first page now. "No more build pics for you! We're going camping!" :R  Now if we cam get Mike to quit being distracted by the Rock Hopper. Really cool to see proof of concept in a larger build.

Its not the size of your camper that matters but the size of the satisfaction when showing off and using it that matters!

Feel free to quote that as much as you want.

Finally, here are the interior pics for our build. I've tried to describe each one so they'll make sense. Also, there are shots of the basement storage area.
Thanks for the cudos on our build. We've done a lot of camping over the years in tents, campers, a van and a motorhome but this is by far the coziest and most comfortable of shelters. We took it camping again last week end and have two more trips planned between now and Sept. We can't seem to get enough road trips.
We'll be happy to answer any questions you might have. If you're contemplating a foamie build don't hesitate - just do it!! We appreciate all the help from people on this website. Thanks everyone.

Very nice. It looks pro built. I'm looking at your basement and now feel bad that I didn't "finish" mine. I sealed it with the MIX but that's all I did. Yours is nice and shiny. I guess it's about attention to the details.

Here's to your Foamie    Cheers!

After looking at the Flicker pics...I am wondering about the pipe surround ?? Was that added for structure or ??

I've been lurking here for quite some time, and just bought my trailer 7x14......still studying up on this method of construction. I kind of like the exoskeleton idea in the big foamie thread.

The pipe is a brush guard and awning tie down. May add some structural support but really wasn't designed for that. We're still using this trailer regularly and it is very comfortable.
