I think we're all waiting for better weather or to get used to the cold weather or something.
I'm bored but I don't feel like doing anything. It's cold outside and trying to snow but not quite cold enough yet, here.
If it does snow here, it'll be the first time in 9 years for my area.

+1

But I must say even though I am the first to wine and complain, we are spoiled in Ca. When I hear about the wind and cold in Wyoming and Snow in Michiagn and New York and all that I feel lucky. I start complaining when I have to put on a jacket over my t-shirt. 8)

Move to California all ! :o

It almost sounds like you're gloating, Kirk. Yet, every area has its problems and nobody gets a free ride all the time, whether it be hot summers, snowy winters, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes...etc. Cabin fever (I think that's what we have.) is a universal problem that we are lucky to have because it means we are inside and reasonably warm and not outside in the cold. In this weather, I often think of the homeless and how miserable it would be to live on the streets or under a bridge or in a cold shack. I guess we should count our blessings and thank the powerful Being above.

But, everyone can sing the "Favorite Things" song as everyone has something that they like to think about that can make them smile. :)

dguff wrote:First of all it is not Bo-long-a but is spelled bologna. Miracle Whip is a Kraft Brand and its major difference from mayonnaise is the use of vinegar as a major ingredient. I much prefer the tangy taste of Miracle Whip and I can read the ingredients on the label of every jar I buy.

Kirk , I'm a newby but I am planning my BIG OUT WEST TRIP in 2015. I will bring plenty of Miracle Whip and you can have MW on everything. I don't keep the other, heavy, too tangy mayo in my house! My frig doesn't like it either. I like fried bolonga, and eggs with MW. MMMMMMMM :D

New BBQ place opened up next to my work called "The Flying Pink Pig".

One of his "specialty" sandwiches is smoked bologna with smoked provolone cheese sandwich. Didn't think I'd ever pay $5 for a bologny sandwich, but he slices it about 3/4" thick.

It's a gooood san-age. :picnic:

My favorite, though ill-advised, treat is a liverwurst sandwich on plain white bread, slices of onions, REAL mayonnaise (no MW... no, no, no) and yellow mustard. Everything except the onions and mustard are bad for you. but YUMMMMM!!! OHHH and a cold beer to wash it all down with.  Only a couple of times a year... bummer :( :(
