You do professional work. It's hard to believe that you don't have a garage.

for $924 you can learn upholstery.
:-)

you are going to put thin aluminum on the bottom of your trailer to cover the plywood? You have not yet sealed the bottom piece (mineral spirits and oil based poly 50/50) Do you have a layer of insulation under there yet? I spent the winter working on mine with the layer of insulation on the inside, just laying there, with some cheap fiber-board on top. GREAT for keeping warm, but I want that 5/8's inch back for standing (well, pant pulling up, half standing) room inside, so I am going to put it on the bottom under the particle board. I've been using "thompson's deck seal" for the bottom, but I think I want to switch to the 50/50 mineral spirits/oil based poly from now on. I still have to figure out how to insulate the 6" diameter PVC "hot water 'tanks'" I put cross-wise underneath.

So what I'm saying is, insulate underneath before you seal the bottom, if you don't have the layer of insulation on top of the floor.

the trailer is 100 % insulated now, ply has several coats of oil based paint on it, it will just get covered when the time comes
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Well had some left over aluminum and I hated the green door on the fridge.
So I made a new door skin
Much better

Image

Figured while I was having so much fun, I'd put one of the little windows I got in the back door

Image

Still have another little window to match, may cut it into the lower panel on the door

I hadn't skinned the inside of the door yet, tried aluminum....I think I hate it....lol

Image

Maybe some pine bead board stained the mandarine orange to match the cabinets
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

This workin while trying to build is tough, how do you guys do it?
Not much tonight, late getting home,
Pulled the bed and futon out, put in house before I damage it.
Spliced into the water lines going to the outside shower and hooked up the tap
Pex and Seatek fittings

Image

Image

Got the trap assembley in with a cheater vent, I always use these if there is no direct vent hookup, they work great in trailers when you can't route to a vent

Image

Just need to rout the 1 1/2" ABS under the fridge and around the toilet and tie into the vent stack on the holding tank.
Figure for what we will use the trailer for, weekending, the 42 gallon tank can handle both black and grey

My world is about to go nuts, it two weeks away till the campgrounds open up here and everyone will want it NOW!!!
The joy of working on RV's, starve for 5 months a year with no work, run like h*** the rest
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Little bit done today.
Finished up hooking the sink drain to the holding tank....by 8:30 this morn

Had a yard sale till 3

Took out the table, took too much room, and installed my new breakfast bar, need to find some small stools or something

Image

And a corner shelf with our mascot screwed down or up, either way he's screwed

Image

Then ran up to Wally world and found some curtains

Image

Hung some Artwork

Image

Got some speakers at Wally world on sale for $20

Image

So I guess I'll install the old Kenwood somewhere

Image

And its official,,, the name that is
It's been branded

more great progress there. Maybe you can figure a way to to have "swing out" seats for your breakfast bar. Not easy working and building. inch it forward. but give more time to design that way...

Been racking my head on swing outs, the marine guys used them ,
I'd love some retro diner stools.

Whats a swing out seat Im picturing a bar stool that's hidden in a drawer or cupboard

I wonder if I can disconnect the seat for storage, and leave the bracket attached along the outside, lower frame edge, then just re-insert the swing out seat when I get there? Hmmm... if that would work, these guys are gonna sell a lot to us builders...
:-)

Like those white ones, just leave the lump attached to the wall/outer frame and pull the pivot/swing piece out along with the cushion and store inside. When you get there, just re-insert for next to a table, campfire, (keg... ;-)

kick butt looking sound system. I'm collecting pieces. how to set them where I won't bang my head on them, or they won't get in the way of something else... I'm thinking like some radio-shack 25 watt, tandon's (tm-11?!?) I got some 25 watter's around here some where. sound I got donated a boom box that does cd's and cassettees, converted to 12v from 240v euro, but right now it is not working. :-(
