I came across this build by a UKer that emulates an
Australian "Bondwood" caravan from the 1950s-1960s.
It is a stickbuilt, plywood [bondwood is a type of
plywood evidently] skinned TT/TTT. Pg 3 shows them
covering the roof with calico fabric and paint.
Page 2 has the amazing faux wood-graining interior
finish that was done by a friend of the builder who
"is of the old school of wagon painter", per the
builder. The artist friend also paints Gypsy vardos
and I'd assume other similar types of wagons.
What a fantastic interior this would be for a Foamie!
