Time , that’s always the problem eh ? When I get time , it’s raining (April showers) ...

First things first ... Gotta’ get the cross members bolted to the trailer ... Dry and clear PT 2 X 4s ... We’ll paint the bottom exposed edges with the black nasty stuff prior to installation ... Since there was some mention of a chemical interaction with the bolts and PT wood ,so we’ll be slathering the black nasty stuff full length on the bolts too ...

Once done , that should provide a good base to glue and screw the OSB floor to... the bottom of which will also be coated with the black roofing cement After the skin is attached underneath later on .
Trying to elevate the whole cabin enough to clear the wheels , enough for me to be able to use regular metal trailer fenders and No wheel wells in the cabin ... Sure I’ll need steps to get inside , but that’s a problem to be solved later .
I do need to get some new rims and tires , the two on there now are rubbish .
Wondering what kind of tires to get ?
There’s a tire place down the street , maybe I should give him a visit ? Tires and rims , I don’t have a clue ... So many choices .... The whole trailer isn’t going to weigh that much ... shooting for < 1000# ... without the ballast...

Ps. Mel , there will even be “reinforcing strips “ under the skin as it wraps under the floor ..

Doublers , or triples ... it’s only canvas... and going on the old principle that twice as thick is eight times as strong , the reinforcing strips would add a great deal of strength , which I believe to have the greatest stresses in that area .. floor to wall join ...
